HELP!!! Honestly... What are my chances?

As college applications are closing in this upcoming week, I have begun to hear from people that have much higher scores than me and I am worried that I won't get into any of the schools I have applied to. Here are my stats.....
SAT:CR720, M650, W670
Subject Tests: MBio710, Lit690
Unweighted GPA: 3.8
Weighted GPA:4.4
Academics: I am from a very competitive IB school so its very hard to be part of the top 10%, but I am in top 12%
I want to become a doctor, so I took two science class (all IB) in both 11th and 12th grade.......11th;IB Physics and IB Bio, 12th:IB Chem and IB Bio 2
I am a full Diploma Candidate
EC: Varsity Golf all four years (Captain as a Jr. and Sr., All-League twice, MVP Senior year)
Science Bowl Team 10th,11th,and 12th grade
National Honors Society/California Scholarship Federation
Red Cross Club
Piano for 10 years
Volunteer: 170+ hours as a tutor, hospital, and music assistant for the local middle school play
I am a first generation college student, from a single parent family(my dad died when I was 8)
As for my letter of recs I think they will be fairly strong, my calc and physics teacher wrote them and I received an add letter of rec from my golf coach about my leadership role
My common app essay was about how I was inspired by mom's nerve disorder to pursue a career as a nuerologist and surgeon so that I could help people with degenerative nerve disorders like her
*I am honestly very concerned about my SAT score but I cant retake them so please tell me in your honest opinion if I can get into Univ. of Notre Dame, Univ. of Chicago, Stanford, Pomona, and Claremont McKenna...... THANK YOU!!!!!

I will chance back:)

While all of these are reaches, they are reachable.

Now, go get a match and a safety unless you already have a safety and/or an acceptance letter.

Univ. of Notre Dame high match
Univ. of Chicago mid reach
Stanford mid reach
Pomona low reach
Claremont McKenna low reach

Good luck!! Chance me back?

I feel like you have chances for all those universities. Your SATs are not horrible because they are above 2000 and getting above 2000 is considered good anywhere. It might be an average score for stanford students and your essay might have an effect on your admission there.
I attended the Stanford Summer Program (2 months) and I got quite close to a few of my mentors. Ill be honest and say that they weren’t the SMARTEST individuals as they had scores ranging between 1900 and 2100. But they told me that your essay is VERY important for getting into Stanford and they all got in because they had a story to tell. I feel like you have a great story too and why you have a passion for neuroscience.

Ill be honest again and say that uchicago might be a very high reach because I heard from several of my friends who have relatives studying in uchicago that they give a **** load of importance on SAT scores.

Anyways, I think you have good chances overall if you still manage to awe the uchicago officers with your essay

Good Luck.

I agree with previous posters, but I would add that Pomona is probably actually a high reach this year in particular. I know from experience- I have a similar GPA to you, higher SAT, and pretty similar ec load, and I just got rejected from Pomona. So, definitely don’t count on it, and have some safeties lined up

That’s bad news because Pomona is my top choice, thank you for the advice though. Would Boston University be an acceptable match and Loyola Marymount as a safety???

Yep! BC sounds like a good match, and LM is a pretty safe bet- however, it isn’t a totally sure bet, so you should probably apply to a school with a really high acceptance rate (like your state school) just in case.
