Help! Horrible at Math... And Math Placement test?

Hey, so I'm registered for the all 2009 class, and as you can see, I'm majoring to be a Graphic Designer. I think my exact major is classified as Visual Arts major.

According to my class course, I only need to take 3 credits in mathematics, and that is in my freshman year.

I did algebra a long time ago, but I've forgotten most of it. I have to take the math placement test soon and I don't know how to answer most of the questions.

My question is, if I bomb the test totally, will I still be able to get into math 113? I know that 114 and higher requires me to know algebra really well, but it seems like math 010 and math 113 only require me to have basics, which I do know.

Second question is that if I can make it into math 113 even if I bomb the math placement test, is that a credit class? It doesn't say otherwise (unlike math 010, which says it does not count for credits) so I would assume so, but I'd like to make sure.

Please help! Thanks!

It really doesn’t matter how you do on the test, it is really just so your adviser can advise you what to take. You could get a 0 and still take Calculus.

Course info about MATH113:
[UD Courses Search - CONTEMPORARY MATHEMATICS](http://primus.nss.udel.edu/CoursesSearch/courseInfo?&courseid=020040&offernum=1&term=2098&session=1&section=010)

I don’t see why it would not be offered for credit.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! ^___^ That helps ease my worries a bit.
