I recently got accepted by UIUC and Purdue while still waiting on U-Mich, MIT, Cornell, and Stanford.

I'm an international student that wants to study aeronautical engineering and if possible, eventually transition into america's aerospace industry.

Would anyone be so kind as to share some insight on what is life like at the schools I mentioned? Things that can't be gleaned from the school website and whatnot.
Or would anyone be knowledgeable on how each school would help me pursue a career in aero?

Well, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I will have to shoulder some debt, but none of them are too far out of reach financially
location wise, i thought that aside from stanford they were all near the great lakes, so not much of a choice?
dunno, never visited any of them, all i know is based off of school websites ans us news rankings

here is my understanding of those schools so far

MIT: they practice need-blind, so if i somehow get in, going there for sure

Purdue: great food and facilities, but not as well-rounded academically

UIUC&U-Mich: i don’t really know what a college town is

Cornell&Stanford: they don’t have aerospace majors if i recall, i just applied there for ■■■■■ and giggles

to my understanding academically wise these schools are on the same lvl in the aero area. what i want is a deeper understanding of each shcools culture, student life style, and how do student from these schools transition into the industry
