I took the jan. SAT and got a 800 CR 660 M and 730 W. I think I can readily do better on writing but am going to have to work to improve on Math. My question is- given the significant chance of scoring lower than 800 on CR the next time I take the test, is it still worth taking it to improve the other two sections? If so, should I still work on CR before I take the test again?
I realize that many colleges have superscore policies but I would still think deterioration in one section would look odd. Also- do the schools that now accept score choice still superscore should I choose to send them scores from two sittings?

it would be better not thake one again unless you are absolutely sure of making less than 2 mistakes in math section

Thanks for the input. But even 4 mistakes on the toughest curve would still yield more than a 660. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
So I’m actually most secure of improving on the math section

you are right about the math section, 4 mistakes will get you probably a 720.

anyway, it wouldn’t hurt to take one more as the score choice thing is there :)
