Help!!! I am really worrying about a possible screw-up

So I just finished my application to about 9 colleges. Their deadlines were either Jan. 1 or Jan 15. (BC, Drexel, Santa Clara, USC) I just sent my ACT scores on December 30th to all of them at once(because I thought that scores were sent instantly). I tried using priority shipping but they all had an “E” beside them and only had one option of regular shipping. I decided that this was fine and there was nothing I could do, but then just today I saw that the colleges I applied to have not received my scores. Help! I’m scared that I might have missed the deadline. Should I call the Admissions office? What should I do? Any help would be appreciated

Check their websites. They’ll usually mention how late ACT scores can be submitted.
If you really are late OR they don’t mention, email them immediately. Let them know what happened and promise them they’re on their way

For Boston College, the website says that the last accepted ACT test date is the December one. But, I didn’t send in the December one that I took, I sent in the one I took last year. Would this affect anything?

The ACT won’t be sending any scores out until January 4. As long as your own application was sent in on time, they will wait for the scores. The “E” means that the school downloads the ACT scores electronically. There’s no way to expedite the process.

Great! Thank you for the clarification.
