I applied to Harvard early restrictive and when I looked it up the basic was that it was legally binding. I should have researched further but I live in Chicago so the strike forced me to submit my application 3 weeks early. I also applied to early action to 2 schools one is public but the other is private. Will I be in trouble? I was never asked to sign anything when I submitted my application as it says online I should have.

“Early Action is a non-binding early program, meaning that if you are admitted you are not obligated to enroll. If you apply to Harvard under our Early Action program, you may also apply at the same time to any public college/university or to foreign universities but you are restricted from applying to other private universities’ Early Action and Early Decision programs.”
The concurrent EA app to a public is ok, but you will need to withdraw (or change to RD) your EA app to the private school (if you want to keep your Harvard SCEA app)…obviously you could change your Harvard app to RD instead.
