So, I meant to apply to CALS Information Science instead of CAS Information Science but I accidentally must have hit CAS.
I wrote the essay for CALS as well. I noticed the admissions office is closed for the holidays, will there be anyway for me to change this on January 3rd when the admissions office reopens? Did I actually just screw myself with a Common App error?

What reason can you imagine that Cornell would NOT let you do this thing?

Even if they view it, you can make the change.
Do not worry about them perceiving that you made an error. As I have said many many times on this site, if a college were to reject every applicant with a typo/minor mistake in their application, they would be unlikely able to fill their freshman class.
