Hello, I am new here but I need some serious help.
I am stuck between choosing a state school, CSU Long Beach, or a community college, Palomar. The problem is I am planning to transfer to an art school after two years, either SCAD or Academy of Art. I recently found out I do not have a full ride at CSULB and still need over 5,000 to go. Alternately, Palomar is a little over 2,000 and I have a 5k grant. Unfortunately I am already deep in the enrollment process at csulb and have no way of knowing how many classes will even be available at Palomar. I really want to save money for the art school fees (30,000-50,000) but I need to be able to take my general ed requirements.

I am stuck...
Go to CSULB and get a loan for two years when I still need money for an art school
or
Go to Palomar for cheaper but no guarantee of class availability.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it greatly!
