So here's my situation: I can't seem to decide on a college! Everytime I think I've decided, something happens (like I'll get an email from one of my other schools, or hear about how great another school is) and I get all uncertain and second guess myself! There are things I really like about each of my schools, but I'm not sure which is best for me. I was hoping to get some other opinions. I would like to be an occupational therapist. (I also love theater and I'm hoping to minor in it just to continue my training, but that's not really the problem.) Anyways, here are the schools I've gotten accepted to:

West Virginia University--Honors College, Pre-Occupational Therapy
Pennsylvania State University--Main Campus, Kinesiology
Duquesne University--Health Science
Westminster College--Pre-Occupational Therapy

I'm still waiting to hear back from:

University of Pittsburgh--Pre-Occupational Therapy
Towson University--Pre-Occupational Therapy

The schools I really love are WVU and Penn State. I also know that Pitt probably has the best OT program. The programs are all different lengths and I'd have to do different routes for each one. It's so confusing! Can anyone tell me 1) Which program is the best for OT?, 2) If you attended a certain school/know someone who attended and what you thought of it? 3) If you think I have a chance of getting into Pitt or Towson? I have a 3.87 GPA, a 27 on my ACT, and 1770 on the SAT (1140 on math and reading). I take mostly Honors and AP classes.

I really just want more opinions on the schools. I've visited every one except Duquesne and Towson. I live in PA. The tuition is pretty much even everywhere due to scholarships.

Thanks for the encouragement! I wouldn’t mind living in WV for school, because it’s actually closer to where I live than PSU is! I would definitely go to PSU if they had an OT program, but since they don’t, I’m skeptical. WVU has a 5 year Masters of Occupational Therapy program. If I went to Penn State I’d have to apply to grad school and do a total of 6 years at least. Also, I’ve never visited Towson, but I plan to if I’m accepted.

So why do you think I should go to Pitt or Penn State? I’d just like to hear your reasoning. :-)

To answer your questions, mom2collegekids:

Yes, I’m a PA resident, but I have a scholarship at WVU that makes it about the same price to go in or out of state. It’s actually cheaper to go to WVU than to attend some of the other schools I got into! That only makes the decision harder! :-(
