I need to take three subject tests for some of the colleges I am applying to. However, my school doesn't offer AP classes until junior year, and so the only AP classes I have taken are AP Bio and AP Gov. I am going to take the AP Bio subject test and probably Math II because I am in honors math, but I don't think I am prepared enough for any of the others to take a third! Please give me some suggestions on what test I could do well on without taking the AP class first!!

anybody?? I’m taking physics right now; its not AP, but could I do well on that test?

Have you taken APush? There is a subject test on us history. What grade are you in? The physics subject test may cover additional areas beyond your classwork, so buy the review book. You could also take the literature subject test, or what about a foreign language? You should look at the math II test to make sure yournhonors math covers the same topics.

you don’t need an AP class to do well on a subject test; that’s why there are subject tests in addition to AP tests. just pick a class that you’re doing well in right now and study for its subject test; an AP class is not at all necessary.

okay thanks! I haven’t taken apush, so I feel like I couldn’t do that. But I am doing really well in physics this year, so I think I may look into that, or possibly spanish, but I don’t know how hard the spanish would be.

I would encourage you to look into physics if you like it and you’re doing well at it. Borrow a book from the library and take some practice physics tests. If you do well, you’ll know this is the exam to take.

okay thanks!!
