I'm really stressed out since college applications are due in 2-3 months. I thought I wanted to apply for Pratt and study fine arts but the more I think about it, the more I realize how much of a risky decision that would be. I mean what kind of jobs can I actually get with a fine arts degree? I am also interested in science (neuroscience in particular). Since my dad works in a college, there are lots of schools that will cover my tuition through tuition exchange. So after looking up a lot of these schools, why would I settle for fine arts when I have so many more opportunities? I feel like focusing on something science/math related would be a better route. But I'm not sure exactly what career or major I would want. I know you don't have to choose a major as a freshman but I would like to have an idea before I actually have to decide.
What do you think? Am I right? And is it okay that I have no idea what field of science I want to major in?
