So i enrolled in summer classes a few weeks ago and i forgot to drop them! I'm enrolled in three.
So now my account is frozen for Coast Community College and i got a bill saying i needed to pay 500 bucks. I cannot enroll for Fall 2013.
I haven't attended a single class because i thought they had been dropped automatically.
What do i do?
Will i have to take 3 more W's AND pay the 500?
The reason why i couldn't take these classes in the first place was because i didn't have money for them.

Please help me, i'm freaking out so badly.

Thanks in advance ):

It’s your responsibility to drop classes if you don’t want to take them anymore…

Your best bet is to call the admissions office, and explain the situation, and beg them to drop the fees or help you sort out the issue. There’s really nothing we can do you help you on here, though.

Okay thanks! I was just wondering if anyone had encountered this situation before and what happened to them. I had registered for these classes at a different CC that i don’t usually go to so i just completely forgot about them /:

If you’re getting W’s for these classes, consider yourself lucky. It could’ve been much worse, and you could’ve gotten 3 F’s if the professors didn’t drop you themselves. Actually, check to make sure you’ve been dropped, otherwise you will get F’s if the drop deadline has passed.

Talk to the division dean for each subject and explain the situation…my college has a policy where if you don’t pay within 24 hours of registering you are automatically dropped and if you don’t show up the first day maybe 2 days you are dropped and refunded.

The division deans for each respective subject will have the final say, though W’s only really effect you for financial aid purposes, also you may want to look into the Board Of Givernors waiver, most CC’s have it and it waives all fees for classes.
