Help!!! I got in, now im not sure what to study.

Ok so I got into and am attending NYU Stern, and I have come to a dilemma.
I am for sure double majoring, and one of them is finance. I am also doing an EMT specialization, which is basically like, the business of enterntainment, which doesnt count as a major. Now the dilemma arises: Should my second major be marketing or accounting?
I would be really good at marketing, and it seems to be the more creative business major, but in terms of job oppurtunities after, and more importantly, compensation, it seems somewhat lacking. I think I would be good at accounting, but it seems SOOOOOOOOO boring, although I think the jobs and compensation are better. So my question is:keeping in mind that I will be graduation 50k in debt, and with a finance degree as well, which should I choose? Will the finance degree supplement the marketing degree and get me a good job with high sallary?
Also, can anyone list some of the jobs and compensations for someone with said degrees? Also, I am planning to work in either nyc as an investment banker OR something that pays well [although not as much as an ibanker, obviously] and combines my 2 majors, or I will move back to LA and get into either ibanking or something movie finance related, or Las Vegas, and get a corporate position at one of the luxury hotels along the strip [dont really care what job].

Thank you allin advance

Why are you for sure double majoring?

^Exactly what I was going to ask.

I honestly thought people at NYU Stern were a lot smarter than this.

sp121, are you implying that only stupid people double major? Thats an idiotic thing to say, and you just embarassed yourself. In order to double major at stern within 2 business fields, it only takes 4 classes to do so, since the foundations are basically the same for all fields of study, so MANY, MANY people double major at Stern.

If there are some entertainment related classes you can take in another NYU college then you should do that if you want to get in the entertainment business. A double major won’t help you accomplish that goal.

Accounting is more aligned with finance and would probably be complementary than a marketing major. However, I would think the most important thing would be networking, internships, and being involved in entertainment related activities (if that is the business you want to get into).
