Ok so October of my freshman high school I was trying to save a document on the computer but it wouldn’t save. The teacher was impatient and wanted me to leave but I stayed to try to save it. I ended up getting referred for that. It was such a long time ago like 3 years ago, I never had anything like it since but it’s so embarrassing to say I had disciplinary action on my college app. What do I do?
I’m applying to University of Maryland, UPenn, UMBC, and Towson.
Disciplinary action refers to suspension I believe. I don’t think it even covers detention.
You’ll be fine. Colleges don’t care about referrals and they certainly don’t care about one for such a stupid reason.
So you got referred because you care enough about your school work that you risked getting in trouble in order to save it? The way I see it, you refused to let school (or a computer at school) get in the way of your education.
Bravo!
I would not only mention it, I would highlight it, LOL!
Ok so on my college app I don’t need to mention it at all?
No you don’t.
