Hi, I am a high school senior student in California and i have no clue what major or school i should take/apply

so as of summer of 2011 my grades in school are
3.97 unweighted (weighted about 4.3)
31 ACT (im retaking it once more in September)
5s on AP biology, Chemistry, English language, Calc BC, US history

I have an interest in almost all of the subject of science, because when i was in elementary school, i liked chemistry, astronomy, physics, biology, and medicine. so i have no idea what my major is going to be, which is going to be a problem when choosing schools.

currently I think i might pursue medicine, but i don't know for sure. Because I think I want to pursue medicine, I can't really go to the "best" schools because it will just tank my GPA for med school, so i have no idea which schools I should apply to. I'm thinking of UCLA or USC (the generic type that my history teacher condemns), but I'm afraid I can't pull out As in those schools. Because I "am" pursuing medicine right now, I was told that I should consider going to a school where I can get the highest GPA possible while getting the best education possible, and the person recommended me schools like UCSD, UC Davis, UCR and UCSF and ect. my biggest fear is that if I suddenly don't want to pursue medicine, I would be stuck in a school where i wont be able to get the education I need to go to the grad school of my choice.

So far, I think I'm going to choose Biology as my major, but since I'm trying for medical school, I need to get a high GPA. There are so many paths for me to choose, and I'm just confused. So my question is: What school and major should I apply?
