<p>I just got a full-ride scholarship to another school. The problem? USC is my first-choice and I still have not heard back from the film school, or on scholarships. What should I do?! I have to make a decision by this friday on whether I want the scholarship at the other school or not...it would leave me with no college expenses...sooo, if I don't get any money from USC, I want it...but if I do get money from USC, then it's a different story. What am I going to do? Who should I call? Whenever I call admissions or financial aid they give me the run-around. Any advice?</p>

<p>just hope you hear in the next 2 days. if you haven't heard by thurs, then you need to call and talk to an administrator. don't freak out completely till thurs. chances are you'll hear by then. if you call thurs and you still get the runaround and cannot talk to an administrator, have your school counselor call usc on friday and get some answers.</p>

<p>yes, I would be able to participate in film and production...although I was actually accepted as a journalism major...they are very flexible. The school is Ithaca College (I know, it's the polar opposite of USC). Also, at that school there are lots of opportunities to work in production for the school's television station (which airs to the entire community 24-7) even if you are not a cinema-tv major.</p>
<p>I still really want to find out about USC though! I love that school so much...are you sure I should just wait it out for now?</p>
<p>well, you could always start the process tomorrow and if you don't get an answer, get your hs counselor on it on thurs. would you go to usc if you didn't get into film production? if so, you need to find out about financial aid as your priority. if not, then you need to call the school of cin-tv admissions 1st, then fin. aid.</p>

<p>film is not journalism my man, plus take ginnynicksmom advice... Your stats are strong enough for USC, join the waiting crowd. You have done good...</p>
<p>My time is really starting to run out, less than 48 hours before I must notify the other school as to whether or not I will accept their scholarship offer. </p>
<p>I emailed USC the other day. Here was their response:</p>
<p>Thank you for your interest in USC.* Scholarship notifications are being sent this week, prior to the May 2 National Reply date.*</p>
<p>Wow...they are REALLY bending over backwards to let me know about this stuff! Any other suggestions? Should I call the admissions of the school I interviewed with?</p>
