Help! I haven't received a confirmation email yet

Hi guys, I'm applying as a transfer but I still haven't heard any word from Midd and it's already been a month and I'm REALLY worried now! Should I call their admissions office immediately or just keep waiting?

Hi barrylaroen,
Yes, I think you should call or email Middlebury. I got a confirmation email on March 2 that they had received my application and I got a login name and password to check my status online etc. Keep in mind that I did send my application a bit early since I live in Australia so perhaps they haven't got to processing yours yet, but I don't think it hurts to ask.
Plus, on my Middlebury login page, it says decisions are released on April 5th! So soon! I'd get in touch asap. Let me know what they tell you regarding admissions decision release dates, would you? That'd be awesome.
Good luck with it!

you should call the AO!!.... fast!!
all the best

Thanks Claire and Dallo, they resent the email to me. And yes, the decision will be out on the 5th. Good luck to everyone (:

My D did not get the confirmation email either. However, we know they have her app because they had a question for her about it. I can also say that we heard decisions are being made as we speak and they will be out within a week.

Has anyone heard how many apps they received or any other details.

Good luck to everyone

Yes, the decisions are definitely being made at the moment because decisions are being mailed on April 4th.
Haven't heard any details as yet as to number of applications. Doesn't Middlebury usually get around 200? I just really hope they will be accepting some people because last year nobody was accepted at all.
Fishman, what did they contact your D about?
Good luck to all those waiting on results!

Actually it was just something benign about the app itself, not any specific question that could be a decision affecting outcome. She is away at school, so not even sure what it was.
With respect to amount of apps, with economy in toilet, wondering if less people trying to transfer into this type of school?
At least with Midd you guys will find out quickly, not too much pain to endure!!!

Best of luck, I hope you all get what you want!
