After I submitted my uc application , i found that i made a mistake!!!!

The question is about "gap in education". I misunderstood the question.

I thought it asked me the gap from high school to college, so I explained the reason.

But actually I should explain why I did not enroll in a winter semester.

Is it a big mistake ? How can i change it ?

It’s too late if you already submitted it.

how can i fix it???

umm…try calling them tomorrow. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but I would definitely call them first. good luck!

Don’t stress, all your problems can be solved by a simple phone call. this will not kill your chances anywhere, just explain the situation and you’ll be fine.

Rest easy. Given that there’s over 100,000 UC applicants each year – and that number is ever-increasing – there is bound to be more than one applicant who made the same or similar mistakes on the application as you did. As Uclahopee stated above, a simple phone call should do the trick. Make sure to speak to them kindly and with a pleasant tone. It helps also to have a mature tone, not one of an eager yet immature and panicky teenager.

For pre-mental preparation purposes, it might also benefit you to know in advance that people at the other end of the phone have limited attention spans, and are usually not going to be any more friendly than they need to be. (In my experience, UCs “admissions personnel” are in marked contrast to those at private universities, who are much more cordial.) Best wishes.

Which occurred for a longer period of time and do you have multiple missing semesters in your transcripts?
