There is this subject that I really know nothing about. I tried to read the book and look at the notes but nothing made sense to me. Knowing that I would fail anyway and that I'd have to guess all the multiple choice problems on the test I just couldn't go to the class to take it...I can't stand the feeling of walking out of class after guessing through all the problems. I just couldn't go take the test....I literally just want to drop out right now.
What should I do? What do I tell my professor?....

Go to your doctor or student health center and tell them you had diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or whatever to get a note. Take it to your professor and ask for the opportunity to retake.

Guessing and at least getting something correct is better than not showing up and get a zero. Suck it up next time. Or get help BEFORE you take the test.

Or just drop the course and try again next quarter. No biggie.

^unless the withdraw deadline has passed.

Tell the professor the truth and that someone has now recommended you get help in the course. Ask the professor for the help. Your school may have tutors available.

Well op, you should have just manned up and studied your butt off. Hopefully you can still take a W. If not, rip sweet gpa.

Consider this a wake up call. It is time to get it done.

I agree with the Dr. clinic note and retake. Sometimes in life we have to just yes LIE. As long as learn from our mistakes and no one is harmed. You need to ask for the letter and retake the test.
