I am a student that had straight As until Junior year. Junior year, I had multiple Bs, some Cs and one F, which I’m trying to makeup with an online course. I’m applying to colleges this year, but I don’t know where to apply. my SAT scores aren’t that great either. I was teased and just not in the happiest moment starting Junior year, and to my regret I just started trying to get back on my feet. I play the violin and am an advanced player, but I don’t know if music should be my path, even though I love it so much. I volunteered for more than 400 hours because I really like helping the community. I am a president of a Honor society. GPA is 3.3
Can you recommend some schools to me where I can be successful? Or just any advice in general? If there’s anyone with a similar experience, can you tell me what you plan to do?
I don’t have a similar point experience, but if there is a good community college near you yo could go their for 2 years and then transfer to another college or university. It would give you time to discover what you want to go into and also show that you are able to a excel with college course work and show the F doesn’t define you. In addition it can save you a lot of money
Where in the country do you want to be? What is your financial situation? If you are doing well senior year and can explain your Junior year, there are plenty of options.
United States, Well I’m not sure to be exact I would say… my father lost his job for a while and my mother had to work in a low income job for three years. Yes I am actually doing pretty well Senior Year, but should i explain it to the colleges?
