Please give me advice.
Whatever course you find interesting after searching through all the online schedule.
I used to advice to take particular courses like Psych 150 or Music 26AC b/c i thought there’s no way to get below an A, but I noticed some people were really not interested at all and find a way to do poorly.
Conversely, when i start to advice people to take whatever it sounded interesting, even though the grade distribution wasn’t generous for that course, they manage to earn an A or A+, so that was interesting.
One thing for sure though, if you’re not sure the courses you selected are going to be good or not, simply go to the first day of lecture of all ‘candidate’ courses and shop from there.
OK can you please tell if this schedule is managable.
Math 1 B
College Writing r4b
Geography c10
And astronomy with flipenko
Thank you very much
About as typical as it can get, although I don’t mean it in a bad way.
If I can redo my R&C, then I would’ve certainly spent 30 minutes a day working on the paper instead of panicking the night before and the day of the big paper submission.
You previously mentioned interest in applied math and economics. Why not take Economics 1 if you do not have a 4 or higher on both AP economics exams?
OK, thanks UpMagic. I get what you mean when you said “typical.” I just noticed a lot of incoming freshmen taking only 13 units that is why I was worried.
One of my most difficult semester was when I had 12 units w/ 3 tough tech courses while my easiest semester was when I had 21 units with mostly courses I wanted to take for a long time. Number of units don’t mean much.
