neeeding help people.......
any advice would be awesome

Am I missing something here, you're not applying to the 3rd best Jesuit institution in America in the best city in America, Boston College?

Might llok at Holy Cross very good Catholic school like Notre Dame and Georgetown. Holy Cross offers good financial aid and some merit aid.

Ouch. I think you're one point below the semifinalist cutoff.

My guesses (sorry for seeming so non-committal)

U. of Notre Dame
Numerically match. I don't know much about them though.

NYU
High Match.

Georgetown U.
Reach

Wash U St Louis
Big Reach (unless ED)

U of Chicago
One of my personal favorites. Moderate reach. Essays are the dealmaker here.

Northwestern
Similar to Chicago, though a very different atmosphere.

SUNY Binghamton, Stony Brook
Safety (as long as you don't blow off the essays)

Cornell U.
Reach

Columbia U.
Reach

Boston U.
High Match

George Washington U.
Safety-match

U Southern California
Johns Hopkins U.
Semi-reach

University of Rochester
Safety

University of Dallas
Safety

University of Illinois, Urbana Champagne
It's "champaign," I think Match

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Match-reach

I disagree with pyroclastic.

I think some of the schools are high matches for you, but not a reach.

Your SAT is quite decent.

and I think Washington Univ. in St. Louis is ranked similar to Northwestern

University in the US news, so I can't understand how Northwestern and

Chicago U is a high match and Washington U in St Lois is a big reach.

However, I think Columbia is tricky. If you are going to apply to

either Cornell of Columbia, I recommend you choose Cornell.

You have a great chance there. I am an international student and

some people who graduated my school and got around 1350 for SAT I

got into Cornell just fine. They didn't have spectacular ECs or anything.

Oh, and Northwestern and Washington U. is ranked higher than Cornell and

Brown.

thanks guys for your responses. they're helpful, but im curious as to what other people think.
