Help!! I submitted an application saying I'm from North Korea !!!

I just realized I put that I'm from North Korea and that my parents went to college North Korea instead of South Korea. I already submitted it and after reviewing through my Common App, I found the mistake and I changed it but one school's application already sent. What do I do???

Contact the schools and tell them about your mistake. Things like that can typically be changed.

Agreed with above ^. They’ll understand.

Hey, demographic diversity. I’m sure they never had a student from North Korea before ;)

Email the admissions office and tell them you made a mistake, and ask them to please change it. Also ask them to please respond to your email so you can be sure it is taken care of.

Although it’s humorous, it’s actually is a problem that needs to get fixed. I can imagine all sorts of red flags being raise (oh, the pun!) if Homeland Security thought a college was actually trying to enroll a real North Korean citizen.

It reminds me of this golden oldie. <a href=“Clam fart! Oh my God... What did I do?! - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/470497-clam-fart-oh-my-god-what-did-i-do-p1.html</a></p>
