Help! I think i messed up!!!!

I'm freaking out right now! I was going through my UCSD app to see the financial aid that I received. I think I might have accidentally went through the process of submitting my intent! I am not trying to decide yet! I still want to heat from UCLA. Please help! What do I do!!?! I can't get out of the process it keeps bringing me back to the page where it takes me through the steps of submitting my intent! Will this affect my UCLA decision!?!

HELP PLEASE!!

Unless you made a payment, I think you’re alright.

Call the admission office, and tell them you are still deciding where you want to go, and accidentally submitted your intent

I hope that is the case!! I dont want to make my decision yet! And its saturday so they are close. I hope im not f****ed!!

You CAN’T accidently send your intent. You have to pay. Trust me, I submitted my SIR to UCSD already.

you can withdraw your SIR… seeing as how youd choose ucla anyway in the event you got in.

u can easily withdraw your sir. u just wont get your money back…

ok…the only this is I cant get out of that 5 step process thing. Its asking me to pay and I’m trying to go back to the original way where I wasn’t in the process thing…if that makes sense.

Yes, you can. Look for a link that says ‘view your admission package’ or something along those lines. Honestly, it doesn’t really matter, just chill out for two more weeks.

Sorta makes sense, weird though. So when you go to this link: http://myadmissions.ucdavis.edu/</a> and login, it takes you straight to a “SIR completion process page” type thing instead of the normal “congradulations on your admission to UC Davis”? I wouldn’t worry about it if that is the case. Look around the screen more for links out of it (like return to home or something). There’s gotta be a way.

Yes, but he’s talking about UCSD, not UCD.

Don’t worry, as long as you didn’t pay, you’re okay.^^

Besides, the UCs want all the money they can get! Even if you DID pay, it wouldn’t affect your UCLA decision. You can withdraw your SIR. So no worries!

forsure thanks so much guys. Dont know what i would do without you guys!

i could see how you thought you messed up though…
you can send it w/o paying the fee, i got a fee waiver so last time i just clicked the button and that was it.

it was cool but i would have liked a receipt or something, imagine if i did it by mistake…

did you call them to change it?

no this was for last year when i did it.

but you can always change it, just as long as you do it before June 1st 2010.
