1) do adcoms only look at predicted grades offered by the school in your first ib year as your academic results at school?
2) If yes, then what is the use of the REAL ib score?
3) What range of scores do I have to get to get into Brown?
4) Do adcoms require ib students to state their ranking at school?
5) What ib schools are top in uk and us?
6) Is GCSE/ MYP or school exams results of any importance?

sorry typo.. in question 3, i mean cornell

...amazed at how many such typos I ve seen.. some one posted "Chances at the Princeton" in the Harvard forum.. and he even put a "the" before "princeton"..

hm I dont have much idea about how they assess IB scores. I am not sure if they look at GPA, but I am sure they look at predict. Also for 2), I personally dont see much use for that, as when they received the score in july or aug they can't really kick you out then, but it wouldn't be too nice if you have a more than 5 point drop from your predicted score (that's just my impression).

why are you asking the same questions for every school. they all treat the IB similarly, and we are in no position to understand minor fluctuations in the policies of individual schools.
