<p>1) No, other aspects include: Rigor of courses, Essays, Recommendations, GPA/Rank, personal qualities, SAT, etc. I think predicted IB scores fall into the GPA/Rank category.</p>
<p>2) To give credit for scores of 6 or 7 on HL exams. No credit is offered for Math, Physics, and computer science.</p>
<p>3) There is no cutoff for IB scores. Chicago uses a holisitic approach to admissions.</p>

<p>I was also wondering about this... sine it is hard to compare a GPA to an IB score. Has anyone who takes IB been rejected / deferred/ accepted from Chicago this year? If so, what were you IB totals? I am basically looking for ballpark numbers.</p>
<p>sadiqhassan, are you an international applicant? Most IBers in the US have a GPA; IB results are entirely separate. Anyway, a total of 32-40 would probably be within Chicago's range.</p>
