HELP! I'm on Academic Probation

<p>Hello everyone,
so i just recently finished my first freshman quarter of college and my grades aren't too good.
i am on academic probation now and i have no idea what to do. it is winter break now and i am just so worried for next quarter. i study my hardest but i still suck. my grades are:</p>

<p>Animal biology: D+
College Writing: B-
General Studies: A
Intro to Information Literacy: C
Calculus I: D
GPA: 1.831</p>

<p>so what do i have to do to get out of academic probation. do i just have to raise my gpa over 2.0 or what. i am so scared right now. i don't want to be kicked out of school.</p>

<p>You need to ask your advisor about the requirements for getting out of probation. Each place has different rules.</p>

<p>You also need to meet with someone in the counseling office, and draw up a plan for avoiding re problems you had last quarter. Clearly some things you did and didn’t do need to be changed.</p>
