oh and i also do extremely well in interviews(i know thats subjective but thats what people tell me so..)

anyway im sorry i had to write down every little thing and i probably bored u but im really hoping u could chance me! im thinking of applying to Columbia, Yale, Boston U and i dont really know what else so i would appreciate any other suggestions!!

oh and i also had dance lessons for a couple of years
and my dad went to columbia and wharton

bump!!!!!!

will someone please reply, there are so many views and no one says anything!

I really wouldn't worry. You sound like a wonderful candidate and should apply wherever you want to! Research a wide range of schools and try to visit some. You will find that a list will grow. I would also recommend that you take slides of your art work. Even if you don't want to major in art, submitting a portfolio of your slides along with your application is often a good idea. Be certain to read on the schools' websites exactly how to do this. It varies from school to school. As far as your ECs, I think your list is also fine. Schools are wary of kids who seem to do so many things that they don't have time for them all, and just focus on them briefly-- to pad their r

id say BU is a definite, they accept a ton of people (a lot of them with far less ECs and lower test scores)
i dont really know about others, sorry

Columbia=Reach, Yale=Far Reach, Boston U=Target

Any of the other Ivies would be great alternates if you're set on applying to a top U.S. institution. Your PSAT was low. Consider retake for 2200+ SAT. If French is not your native language, than your SAT II will stand out. GPA out of 4.0?? Okay ECs.

thanks everyone!! franglish, yes, submiting art work is a good idea, i hadn't even thought of that! thank you! i will definitely score better on the SAT, i hadnt studied a bit for the PSATs. also, i was 98 percentile, isnt that supposed to be good? i hope this doesnt sound arrogant but it was the highest score in my school, the PSATs i mean. well anyway, yeah french isnt a native language so im hoping the 800 will stand out. oh and i think my GPA would be around...3.something but i dont know exactly. i will definitely bring it up tho. again, thanks for everyone's advice! anyone else?

I think you stand a very good chance at BU, not so much at the others. And how were you in the 98 percentile with those psat scores, unless international has a separate pool of grades.

yeah, it was 98 for international students and 94 generally

bumpity bump bump
