UCB/UCLA: Match

Berk/UCLA: Match

I am confused. which do you guys think it is: "match" or guaranteed admission to one/both? would it help to decide if i posted my personal statements?

Cal_wannabe,

No one on this board can tell you whether or not you'll get in. Stop worrying! Besides, about the personal statements, I know from experience with my siblings and friends that UC admission is based almost entirely on your test scores and GPA. Essays and ECs really only matter to kids who are on the cusp, and your scores fall well within (above, actually) the admit range. Don't stress yourself out. You only have to wait a bit longer. Get on with your life. (No offense.)

darn it...you guys are soo lucky to be cal residents...im a ny resident applying to ucb...even though we might have similar stats, my chances of getting in, is MUCH LOWER than you cause i am out of state....so quit your worrying and stop going crazy, you have a good shot and also your from ca which helps a lot

Life is sweet! Accepted to UCLA :D!!! Super suspenseful login too! I didn't remember where I was born, lol. oo and invited to honors program

nvm everyone gets invited to the honors program i think. but i am definitely not top 3% of my hs.

well congrat cal_wannabe.......i wish i got accepted to my dream school so i can over there and just see you....aahhhh cal girls are hot

Ha. You had no reason to worry, I see.

Where does it say your accepted to the honors program. I got in but im trying to figure that part out

It doesn't. But if you have a 4.1+ UC GPA & a 2080+ SAT you are invited to apply.

how did you find out so fast cal_wannabe? I thought UCLA sends out their admissions mid-march?
