I sent in all my transcripts, applications, ACT/SAT scores on Monday. I went to log into my account for Boston U and it says I have to turn in a mid year report. On none of the checklists for any of my schools did it say anything at all about a midyear report. I dont understand when I send it, is it now? (my school's 'mid year' would not be until the end of january, we have a weird mid term schedule) do they not look at me for admission until they have that?? HELP and do I have to print it out and give to my counselor form or is it included on the common app??
I just dont understand when is it sent? im going to be way past all the deadlines if it is sent mid year?

Thanks for answering, I just need some clarification. I cant wait until tomorrow to go to my guidance office.

They are looking for an official transcript that includes the first official marking period at your school. It is not something that you send. Your school sends it. Wait till tomorrow – ask your counselor, or your school registrar.

I am my daughter’s counselor (we homeschool). Midyear report is something I do from my account, and will be done after the mid year grades are out. It is a trivial form, and the counselors know what to do. Colleges do not expect it yet. Worry not!

ok so, right now I’m good? I dont have anything to worry about until after mid terms? the schools will still review me for admissions before then?

You do not have to do anything at all, just good grades, especially if you are applying RD, because the schools will look at those midyear grades if your application is still being reviewed. If you applied early, then they will just be looking for signs of excessive senioritis.

So, wait until after your mid years are out before settling into just a touch of senioritis. :-)
