Help!!!!I'm so confused

I'm from Puerto Rico and i want to apply to stanford and princeton. The common app is asking me for AP classes. In Puerto Rico high schools don't offer those courses but chemistry and US history are standard classes. The questions are: do those courses are AP and I don't know? and Can I use those as AP classes?

Google AP courses. AP stands for advanced placement. They are special courses with special nationwide tests in the spring. Those scoring high enough on them can receive college credit at most colleges. So you would know if you had one. Schools you apply to should not hold it against you that you had no opportunity for AP. Not all high schools in US offer them.
