SAT math I am raising my score but can't seem to make it to the 600s.. I took the Sat in may and June with 540/530 respectively. I got my test back from may and retook the math and got a 570. I've also taken some practice tests from the blue book and preparing books getting these:

Blue Book 1:560
Blue Book 2:580
Preparing for the SAT booklet:570
I'm not trying to get an 800 or go to Ivy League but I'm wanting to go to a competitive state school and want to do better on the math. How should I go about doing that?

Get a prep book. PWN the SAT (Math) and Dr. Steve Warner’s 28 Lessons Math Book are the ones I personally recommend. I also hear Gruber’s Math Workbook is good too according to posts I’ve seen on here. Get one and study a little bit (20-30 minutes) every day. Continue going over practice tests you’ve taken until you get everything right (without memorizing the answers).

review your answers on the BB tests you just did - see which specific types of questions you missed, then by a prep book (almost any will do really((but you might want to do investigative research to find which will get you the biggest bang for buck))). Then use the prep book to learn or brush up on the types of question you missed and then make sure you never get it wrong ever again. Repeat until you are satisfied.
