I took the SAT in May and, needless to say, didn't score very highly on the math section. I'm planning to re-take the test next fall. Currently, I'm using the Princeton Review and Kaplan test books to prepare. I'm not sure how much these resources will improve my score. What should I do to get the most out of my studying? Are there any prep books you'd recommend? Is the test from March worth buying? I'd appreciate any help and tips you could provide.

tell us your math score.
If you are scoring less than 500, then your best strategy is to answer the questions you know (easy) and just NOT DO THE ONES that are HARD.

If are scoring 500-650, then the Official SAT Guide and the PR and Kaplan books should be enough

If you are scoring more than 650, then its not a bad score
:)

Thanks for the advice. I've heard some good things about Grubers, is that worth buying?

Yes, it is worth buying for Math.

Get Barron's Math SAT Workbook - I am using it right now :D

If you are in high 600s, use Kaplan 2400 book.
I can't raise it from 790 :(

kanagawajin: then just hope your real SAT exam will have easy questions :P
