Hi guys. Recently I got a 1960 comp. (CR, M,W)-(630,680,650) and I'm really aiming to get a 2150+ on my next SAT in January. I guess my major concern is the reading section and learning to improve to 700+. Any tips and/or advice? Thanks!

preferably, it would be nice to hear advice from high scorers but anyone is welcome to bring their opinions-esp. if you're really good at the reading section :)

i was in the same position as you… i had a 1980 (CR 590, M 700, W 690) superscore for SAT but i took it Oct 2009 and got a 2180 (CR 730, M 730, W 720) =]
i practiced each section like it was the REAL thing… [no cheating and giving yourself extra time]… i completed all the collegeboard official SAT tests in the 2010 edition [2nd ed] and worked out of the 11 practice tests for the SAT by princeton review
practicing SATs will help your pace and let you see more problems and hopefully answer all of them and guess on a few. Good luck!!!

By far, the easiest section to improve is the writing (mc). Just go through barrons or gruber and read all of the grammar. I went up a gazillion pts that way.
