What kind of engineering colleges should i be looking at with a score of
ACT -31 (Composite)
31 (English)
33(Reading)
34(Maths)
26(Science)
and
SAT -II scores
Math-II 720
Physics 730
I am looking at MIT and Stanford.

MIT and Stanford will be reach schools for you, as they are for most applicants. I recommend you investigate what type of engineering you are interested in before applying. Also, recognize that MIT and Stanford have completely different social atmospheres. Your college choices should be places that suit you as a person, not just you as a student.

Regardless, with your scores I think you will struggle to make it into the top tier engineering schools. Some great engineering schools that are just below Stanford/MIT level include:
-Carnegie Mellon
-Tufts
-Georgia Tech
-Berkeley
-Lower level ivies? (Cornell comes to mind…)
-Purdue
-UMich

You’re not a candidate for ivies, MIT, Stanford, CMU, Tufts, Berkeley, or UMich. Even Purdue and esp. GT will be stretches.

What’s your unwtd. GPA? are you female? what engineering are you interested in? what can your family afford? The last of these is the most important question for any applicants, so don’t forget to tell us of your FA needs.

I agree with jkeil911; however, test scores do not make the applicant. GPA is extremely important, and extracurriculars are also very important. If you are lacking in these spheres there are still great options!

-UWashington
-UMaryland
-UCLA
-USC
-UCSD
-UVirginia
-UConn
-Cal Poly
-Harvey Mudd
-Texas
-Penn State
-UMinnesota
-VPI

Some of these may still be reaches
 Good luck.

My GPA is 3.9 and i really don’t have any financial needs(I come from a rich background), I am mainly interested in Robotics and Aerospace Engineering, and i am male… also i am an Indian

Rose-Hulman.
