[HELP] In freshman highschool, caught plagarising, consequences?

Hi, I was caught plagarising in Grade 9, which is freshman year, and I have heard all my disciplinary reports will be going to college. I really want to get to top engineering universities such as Stanford and MIT so I am starting to panic. I had copied the last paragraph, but not word for word. Also the December break just started and my teacher told me that she will give the lowest grade possible unless i submit a unplagarised piece of work by today. She is a teacher that keeps shouting all the time, so I am even more panicked. My PSAT score also came on that day and its a 230. I emailed her with a apology letter and my unplagarised work, but she has not replied at all, and im getting very worried. I get all A's except for English. This is my first time.
My question is:
Have I really drastically reduced my chances of getting into Stanford, MIT, Harvard?
What should I do to redeem the reduced chances?
Will all colleges look at this, even from freshman year?
This was a GCSE practice essay, so will American schools still put it down alot?
Should I tell my parents (they will make my December break hell if I do)
Will changing schools help (there is an american school nearby where they accepted me)

This is the wrong area to post this thread. But if I were you I’d never cheat again (and you really shouldn’t cheat anyways). The teacher sounds like she gave you a second chance and will probably live up to it. I don’t think you need to tell your parents if your teacher gave you a way to redeem yourself. Just try not cheating again my friend.
