Help in Rec Letters!

Hey,
I'm writing the letter for my teacher to write her recommendation letter to me--and I have to give it to her tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting started? I'm having serious writer's block here.

You go up to her and say... "Hi, will you please right my letter for me"...

If she really wants to write it, she wont need convincing or flattering in a letter... although it is seemingly formal to right a letter... if you are on the basis you should be a with a teacher who is going to write you a rec, you should be able to speak to them as a friend, and human being. Ask her!

Yeah, exactly

Why write a letter? Go up and ask

im assuming you can't get your teacher directly. i dropped an email to my teacher who was on holiday. it read something like this;

"Dear Ms X,
I need a recommendation letter for Y University. Will appreciate it if you can write one by [deadline]. Thanks!"

hey, sorry i didn't phrase that correctly. at our school at least, you usually write a 2-3 page letter about yourself and specific anecdotes so they can include them in the letter. I got it done though!
