<p>Some colleges are requesting tax forms but none of my parents file them. one is unemployed and the other is retired. what should i do??</p>
<p>Go to their websites & see if they have a nonfiler form to fill out for 2009-10. If not, call them & ask. You are not the only one, so they'll know what you should do.</p>
<p>Yep, I'm in the same boat. Just call and ask, or send an e-mail. Should be no problem. I have to do this all the time for various programs and scholarships now, including at my university.</p>
<p>well…um on the same boat too…but…um an INTERNATIONAL student (sometimes being dat makes it a lot difficult!)…one of my parent is retired and other is a government school teacher with very small salary, and hence, doesn’t need to fill the tax .
