Basically, here’s what happened: I have two INCOMPLETE math classes (major prereq’s) and one Honors class that is also INCOMPLETE. I originally thought I’d be able to get them all done but the teachers have not replied to my emails (any of them) and I have no idea how to get a hold of them. I had this classes as “STILL IN PROGRESS” but I changed them now to incomplete since that’s the grade I was given. I was hoping to change them before the TAU but obviously that didn’t happen.
I’m stressing out a lot since I don’t know if I’ll get accepted to any UC now because of this. I have all A’s and B’s (one C in an intro C++ class that I got an A in the harder class the next year) and I’m in the TAP program (I haven’t been able to get my TAP certification yet so there’s another stress added on to all this).
As long as they have a time frame as to when they will be done, it should generally be OK. But you really need to get them done as soon as possible, especially since there are three. And it’s getting very late. You need to email each UC with a completion date. If they want you they will give you that time frame, but if you don’t meet it, then you would likely be disqualified. RE: TAP certification, yeah that could impact it.
Can’t you just go to profs office and get it sorted out? I’m not sure why you aren’t being more pro-active. Are you saying you finished the assignments? At this rate, you won’t make it.
BTW, if they don’t get the I grades by whenever it is they need them they calculate the grades as Fs.
First off, I appreciate the concern and also the advice. The problem was that both of these teachers were no longer teaching at my school (I know! some luck I have :/). Anyway, I got everything sorted out with my school and my teachers and I already have two out of the three grades :~)
Also, the TAP issue has also been solved!
I guess I just wanted to say thanks anyway since you two both put time into your responses and it really was quite good advice even though I was too stressed out at the time to give the whole story.
