Help!!! Internal Transfers!!!

Is it possible for someone who just transfered into NU to transfer internally among different undergraduate school? (E.g. Mccormick to Weinberg?)

I know incoming freshmen are able to do that but i'm not sure if there's any restriction to transfer students
.
And NU's website seems so quite about it...

They do allow it. From a page on transfers,

“What if I want to change undergraduate schools?
If you wish to change your admission from one Northwestern school to another, please send your request in writing to the Dean of Undergraduate Admission no later than July 1. Each request is considered individually, and is contingent upon the space available in each school.”

I heard it’s pretty easy. You just need to write a paragraph explaining why and have your dean/academic advisor sign the form.

sirsteveh, I see… is that a statement specifically for transfer students?

brebeuff, thx… i just fear they have restrictions on students who just transfered in.

I have no idea, but it probably depends on the school and when you’re transferring. McCormick, for example, has a rigid curriculum so you’d need to make time to complete all the requirements. Medill is very very selective in general.
