HELP! I have an interview in a few hours, but I smell like a turkey…it was for a school fundraiser…i’ve washed my hair too many times to count, but the smell won’t go away…any suggestions?
would it be weird to start the interview by saying “hi, i’m _____. sorry i smell like a turkey, but” and explain why?

wow...i'm so glad you guys have so much compassion...lol...you're right though
do you think it'd be better to just not say anythin and hope the interviewer doesn't notice

Try washing in a mild vinegar solution, then use some diluted lemon juice. These will help cut the fat globules that are sticking to your hair and skin. I'd definitely mention to the interviewer you have been preparing food all day, and talk about your volunteer work.
