<p>I do know the UC site claims a little over the limit is fine, but the example they used was 1,012 words, not 1,070.</p>
<p>Try writing your second essay and see where it comes out, because it’s terribly hard to write when you feel completely limited by the word count, then aim for about 1,030 or so.</p>
