I'm home-schooled( Started in 7th grade)
I'm planning on majoring in Neuroscience as well</p>

SAT II: Math-590, Lit-640,taking Bio(Im expecting to get around a 650)
AP's: Will have taken 7 by graduation

I also tested into the Honors Program at Quinsigamond Community College, where I took a sociology honors course, and maintained a 4.0GPA</p>

<p>Though I don’t know your subscores of SAT, but from SAT subject tests and ACT, it seems that your SAT lagged behind a little bit because of your math. If UMichigan, which is a public university, is your top choice, then you should try to do better in the next SAT. you know, the public universities have too many applications to read each individual’s carefully, so they will mainly look at your academic record(standard tests ,GPA,curriculums, ranks). The private schools will look at your whole application, that’s when your ECs work, provided that your scores won’t eliminate you before ECs can help.

<p>you definitely need to get your test scores up for all of those schools including Illinois. I would say you need at least a 30 for Illinois to feel comfortable, for Michigan you need more like a 32 or above.</p>
