Help! Is my Bad Grade going to cost me college?

Well, I’m about to wrap up my Junior year of high school and the main topic of discussion is college. I’m excited for it, but there’s this unfortunate shadow that’s looming over my high school transcript: I got an F in AP Calculus my first semester. I switched to Topics in Calc (calculus on a basic level) and I have a 100% in the class. I’m planning on taking Stats at the nearby community college this summer to make up for this fail, but I can’t help but think about that F and how it will always be on my transcript. I have considered retaking it my Senior year, but my dad will not let me, he doesn’t want to risk another bad grade, and I get it.
But I guess my questions is this: What can I do to rectify this situation? Will this summer class solve the problem? And will colleges see this grade and think RED FLAG? I don’t want to be turned down from colleges due to this grade. I am normally an A student with a couple B’s, if any. Before this, I have maintained a 4.32 gpa with multiple AP’s. Now, I’m not so sure where I stand. Advise me! (please)

I am a completely unqualified 9th grader but couldn’t you technically retake the course online?

Likely not at all. It’s high school anyways, none of it will matter once you get into college.
