<p>Me and my sister are applying for the same college
We both had an obstacle that forced us to stop learning for some years
Now, we are going to mention that in our personal statement
but the problem is that our last names are different, so I was afraid, like what if the admission would think
these two individuals have the same story and they are not related!
I am kinda of scared right now, but you see we have to mention this story, so they understand why we had a gap in our education!</p>
<p>Look, as long as it’s not the “exact same” essay (in other words, copied word for word) you should be fine. You have nothing to worry about!</p>
<p>Thank you. It is definitely different as a whole, but like I said we both came from the same background and had the same obstacle. </p>
