HELP! Is there any danger of rescindment (application inconsistency)?

Hi, I'm an OOS student who recently got into Berkeley's College of Chemistry.

I took a college-high school dual credit course offered by a high school in my district through my local community college. When I filled out my UC application, I put down "Calculus III w/ Analytic Geometry", a 5-credit course, for Fall and Winter 2013, since I was taking calc 3 1st semester senior year and my high school 1st semester ran through January, and the course ran the length of the semester. Thus, I figured that I would be taking the course for Fall and Winter 2013.

However, when I checked my community college transcript, I saw that Calculus III w/ Analytic Geometry had officially only been a Fall 2013 class, and as such only a grade for Fall 2013 was shown, with absolutely no mention of Winter 2013 whatsoever.

Would Berkeley ask, "Hey, where's your Winter 2013 grade? Didn't you take the class for Winter 2013?" Am I in danger of getting rescinded? I really want to SIR to Cal, but I first want to be sure I won't be screwed when Cal receives my community college transcript (which I must send as part of the admissions conditions).

I'm probably being irrational and/or paranoid, but could someone please honestly tell me if I am in danger of getting rescinded?

I do think you’re being a little paranoid. It was an honest mistake, one they might not even ask you about, so I highly doubt you’d get rescinded for it. If you want to reassure yourself, call the registrar and let them know.

The biggest issue with reporting transcripts are that the letter grades you said you had don’t match the transcript you hand in. If it’s just an issue with whether you took a class or not, you should be ok.

Bump

Why are you bumping this? You can quickly get your answer by calling the school.

You can also review this situation with your college counselor at your high school.

I think it’s an honest mistake. I’m sure tons of students do it so if you really feel irked by it call them. But it’s not like you made a C into a B so I wouldn’t worry too much.

bump, this is actually exactly what happened to me
