But I was suspended for 2 weeks during my junior year. How can I get into second tier colleges and up such as USC, Carnegie mellon, Emory, etc.

What would I have to do to get into those schools?

A few suggestions:
Do not do again whatever you did that lead to a suspension

On the common application, you will be asked if you have ever been suspended or expelled. Answer this question thoughtfully with an emphasis on
what you learned from the experience

A two week suspension is serious. Most likely you will have a difficult time getting into these schools as you are an upperclassman and a two week suspension suggests that the matter was very serious. If the infraction involved drugs or violence or racism, then you are not likely to be admitted to any “most selective” schools. USC, CMU & Emory are not second tier schools in my opinion. Consider state universities in your state.
