Help! Late Mid-year report!

My school is on a quarter system so my grades for my mid-year report will not be put in until early February. Then, my counselor will probably take her sweet time to complete the mid-year report forms and will have them done in 2 weeks.

This means that I will not be able to send out my mid-year report until end of Feburary/early March!

Is this when college expect to receive mid-year reports or do they usually expect them in January? Will they look at my application even if the mid-year report has not been submitted yet?

For Syracuse specifically it says under "missing application materials" that I need to turn in my 1st seinor marking period grades.

Please help I am worried!

Have you e-mailed Syracuse to ask whether they would accept the quarter report? If not, you can then let them know that your school will not have mid-year reports ready until late February at the earliest. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Schools across the country vary greatly as to where “mid-year” falls. In much of NYS, for example, mid-year reports don’t come out until late January, after winter Regents exams take place.
