Hello,

I realized after submitting the Common App to Duke for Early Decision that I had left out one extra curricular activity I intended on mentioning as well as a couple awards I should have mentioned. I know this was stupid and that I should have given a thorough review of everything beforehand, but these things simply were an afterthought.

I decided to print out a full resume, highlighting everything I think the admissions should know about me, and mailed it with a letter explaining that I'd like it to be added to my file. Is this going to happen in the real world? Or am I at a loss...?

My hope is that they will add it to my running file, since I mailed it along with the ED agreement/contract. I emailed one of the admissions directors, whom I've spoken with in the past, and asked her personally.

I think my application is strong in all other regards--just wish I had included these in the Common App fields. Even if I did, however, I still would not have been able to elaborate as fully as I would have liked and did in my paper resume.

Please give me any thoughts/experiences you have with sending supplemental resumes in this type of situation.

Ryan
