i just need two more. c'mon everybody, please?

After reading stats of other CCers, and checking out the facts from the schools' websites, i have very little hope left of getting in a top university. <and there="" goes="" my="" dream="" of="" getting="" in="" an="" ivy=""></and>

SAT I: 660 CR/680 M/ 660 W
top 25%
pretty good EC's (w/leadership positions)
hoping to get great recommendations

! will need HUGE fin.aid !

which universities in the northeast are a match? preferably those with big sports scenes and great college towns. if not, well, i'll take anything that will take me. yay :)

the problem with lower ranked schools is that, yeah i could probably get in, i just won't have enough aid.

i have been researching for a really long time now. can't seem to find the perfect match. that's why i'm asking. thanks for the suggestions though

actually, i'm a girl. surprise! :) why the sports scene? well, i love going to big games. i'm all for school spirit. hoorah.

Have you considered the better women's college? Smith and Mount Holyoke in particular seem to be academic matches and both are quite generous with financial aid for internationals. Smith has a lot of school spirit and is located in a beautiful college town.

Both of them are small colleges but you can take classes at any other institution of the Five College Consortium (Smith, Mt Holyoke, Amherst, Hampshire, UMass), so your academic and social opportunities are not quite as limited as it might appear at first.
